Responsibilities & Duties: Primarily working with in house projects and custom CMS systems. Offering day to day web development support. My task entailed designing and developing solutions for internal staff and teams. I was responsible for publishing web content via a CMS system – working closely with in house web developers.
My wide range of duties also involved the conversion of video files and media for web use. Designing for both the internet and company intranet sites as well as numerous micro sites, styling and customising within corporate brand. Here I extended my skill sets within PHP, XHTML, XML, and XSLT as well CSS. More recently the systems were migrated to a .net platform allowing me to further expand on my skills and experience whilst working with Visual Studio. Being the only front end web developer in the Promethean Planet team I undertook the majority of cross-browser testing and cross platform testing.

Responsibilities & Duties: This role has helped me achieve a greater understanding and learning of HTML, XHTML sites conjoined with ASP.NET development. I have undertaken branding and often re-branding of sites using CSS and hand coding. On a daily basis I make use of Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop to construct and design web pages and online material. I have good knowledge and understanding of web standards and designing for cross-browser compatibility. In addition to this I have had some experience in designing with web accessibility as a priority. I have also completed a number of projects designing in flash with the use of Actionscripting and also with the type of work I have done, with epamea I keep a keen interest in video editing and screen animation technology. At epamea I have been introduced to applications such Macromedia Captivate & Contribute which I have become competent in using on a regular basis.

Responsibilities & Duties: My employment at Centurion was used mainly as a learning ground in the commercial industry. Here I first started using content managed websites and became comfortable using applications within the Macromedia MX 2004 suite. My main duties included updating live sites and maintaining websites with latest news. In addition to this I also introduced to the company their first intranet site which was designed, administered and maintained solely by me.

Responsibilities & Duties: The duration of my placement year was spent at a local e-business firm with a proven track record in governmental organisations and companies alike. My role as junior was to design micro sites, update and maintain content for on-going projects. I often got involved in client meetings and built up a design specification for them accordingly. At this placement I also had the opportunity to learn about search engine technologies and also understood and implemented web & search optimisation.
